SKUs
A SKU (Stock Keeping Units) is the most specific and detailed representation of a product.
As the most granular unit in the product hierarchy. An SKU identifies a unique item with all its distinguishing characteristics, such as size, color, flavor, packaging type, or promotional status.
How to Create and Edit a Sku
From the Reference Data > Skus List in the Back Office (BO), a list of all products can be accessed.

To create a new one, select the Sku. Create option located in the RELATED TASKS section on the right side of the screen.
The following screen will be displayed.


Name: A required text field for the SKU's name.
Description: A required text area for a detailed description.
Master: A required dropdown menu that links the SKU to its parent Product.
Number of Units: A required numerical field for specifying the number of units in the SKU.
Selling Quantities: A required numerical field for defining the quantities in which the SKU can be sold.
Active: A checkbox that enables or disables the SKU. This field is checked by default.
Description: Additional text areas, labeled Alternative Description 1 through 40, for providing alternative descriptions.
- Related SKUs: This dual-list box allows for the association of SKUs with the current item. SKUs can be moved from an available list to a selected list. A warning note indicates that inactive SKUs are marked with a star symbol.Reference Data: This section includes a table for managing custom reference data.
The following steps should be followed to edit a product:

Select a row and press SKU. View
Click on Edit SKU
