Competitive Market Companies

A Competitive Market Company is a specific organization that operates within a Competitive Market.

This level of the product hierarchy is used to group and organize all Brand Families and Brands belonging to a single corporate entity. It provides a way to structure a company's own products as well as those of its competitors for analysis.

How to Create and Edit a Competitive Market Company

From the Reference Data > Competitive Market Companies List in the Back Office (BO), a list of all competitive market companies can be accessed.

To create a new one, select the Competitive Market Company. Create option located in the RELATED TASKS section on the right side of the screen.

The following screen will be displayed.

• Name: A required text field for the company's name.

• Code: A required text field for a unique identifier.

• Using Thalamus: A checkbox to indicate whether the competitive market company is used by Thalamus system.

• Active: A checkbox that enables or disables the competitive market company. This field is checked by default.

The following steps should be followed to edit an interaction.

• Reference Data - Competitive Market Companies List

• Select a row and press Competitive Market Company . View

• Click on Edit Competitive Market Company
