Profile Fields
Profile Fields are data fields that describe parties.
Thalamus includes a series of default fields for every party type. Additionally, new custom profile fields can be created to store specific information.
How to Create and Edit a Profile Field
From the Configuration > Profile Field List in the Back Office (BO), a list of all profile fields can be accessed.

To create a new one, select the Profile Field . Create option located in the RELATED TASKS section on the right side of the screen.
The following screen will be displayed.

Owner: This drop-down menu specifies the party type for which the field will be available.
Category: This field determines the category to which the item belongs.
Name: Text fields for the field's descriptive name
Code: Text fields for a unique identifier code.
Description: Detailed description of the field's purpose.
ID Type: A dropdown menu to specify the type field will store. Available options:
Boolean
Date
Decimal
Email
Number
Large Text
Text
Address
Combo
Identification Document
Custom list single-selection
Custom list multiple-selection
Image
Cell phone number
Custom composite field
PARTY REFERENCE
MULTI PARTY REFERENCE
Custom Composite Id
Push Notification
Default Configuration
This section contains checkboxes to configure:
System Default: Marks the field as a system-wide default.
Visible: Controls whether the field is displayed in forms registration.
Principal: Designates the field as a primary attribute.
Belongs to a parent party: Links the field to a parent party.
Required: Makes filling out the field mandatory.
Editable: Allows the field's content to be changed after it's been created.
Full Index: It means it will be used for reporting, allowing a fast DB lookup by this field
The following steps should be followed to edit a profile field.
Configuration - Profile Field List
Select a row and press Profile Field . View
Click on Edit Profile Field
