For enhanced organization, profile fields can be grouped into categories for display within the Contact Center (CC).

How to Create and Edit a Profile Field Category

From the Configuration > Profile Field Category List in the Back Office (BO), a list of all profile fields categories can be accessed.

To create a new one, select the Create Profile Field Category option located in the RELATED TASKS section on the right side of the screen.

The following screen will be displayed.

  • Code: A required text field to enter a unique identifier code for the category.

  • Name: A required text field for the category's descriptive name.

  • Description: A required text area to provide a detailed description of the category's purpose.

The following steps should be followed to edit a profile field.

  • Configuration - Profile Field Category List

  • Select a row and press View Profile Field Category

  • Click on Edit Profile Field Category
