Partner Datasource
This is a technical configuration screen used to set up a new data source for partner-related imports. A data source defines how the system connects to an external location to retrieve files for processing. The configuration includes defining the processor type, connection credentials, server details, and specific data handling rules, such as reprocessing logic.
How to Create and Edit a Partner Datasource
From the Configuration > Partner DataSource List in the Back Office (BO), a list of all Partner Datasources can be accessed.

To create a new one, select the Partner Datasource . Create option located in the RELATED TASKS section on the right side of the screen.
The following screen will be displayed:

1. General Properties: This section defines the high-level characteristics of the data source.
Processor Type: A mandatory dropdown to select the type of processor that will handle the data from this source.
Touchpoint: A mandatory dropdown to associate this data source with a specific touchpoint.
DataSource Type: A mandatory dropdown to define the type of data source.
2. Authentication: This section is for configuring the credentials required to access the external data source.
Authentication Type: A mandatory dropdown to select the authentication method (e.g., password, private key).
User: A mandatory field for the username credential.
Password: A mandatory field for the password credential.
Private Key File: A field to provide the path to a private key file for authentication.
Passphrase : A field for the passphrase associated with the private key file.
3. Connection and Data Handling: This section specifies the connection details and data processing rules.
Is amount already calculated? : A checkbox to indicate if the amounts in the source data are pre-calculated.
Host: A mandatory field for the server address (hostname or IP) of the data source.
Working Directory: A mandatory field for the specific directory path on the host where files are located.
Partner: A mandatory dropdown to associate this data source with a specific partner.
Active: A checkbox to activate or deactivate this data source configuration.
Days to reprocess: A field to enter the number of previous days for which sales data should be reprocessed upon a new import.
The following steps should be followed to edit a Partner Datasource
Configuration - Partner DataSource List
Select a row and press Partner Datasource . View
Click on Partner Datasource Edition.
