Courier List

This feature is used to configure automated data exports, typically for fulfillment or logistics services. The configuration defines the structure and content of a data file that the system will generate, including which specific data fields to include as columns. This allows for the creation of customized data files for external partners.

How to Create and Edit a Courier

From the Configuration > Courier List in the Back Office (BO), a list of all Couriers can be accessed.

To create a new one, select the Courier . Create option located in the RELATED TASKS section on the right side of the screen.

The following screen will be displayed:

1. Courier Details this section contains the primary identification details for the courier configuration.

  • Name: A mandatory field for the name of the courier configuration.

  • One Order per Item Type: A checkbox that specifies if a separate order should be generated for each item type.

  • Email: A mandatory field for the contact email address associated with this courier.

  • Description: An optional field for an internal description of the courier configuration.

2. File and Send Configuration this section defines the output file format and sending delay.

  • File Type: A mandatory dropdown menu to select the format of the output file (e.g., CSV, TXT).

  • Party Type: A mandatory dropdown menu to select the type of party this configuration applies to.

  • Delay before send: A mandatory field to specify a delay (e.g., in minutes or seconds) before the file is generated and sent.

  • Print Titles: A checkbox to indicate whether to include column titles (headers) in the generated file.

3. Select the columns to include in the file this section is used to build the structure of the output file by defining each column.

  • Field: A dropdown menu to select the system data field to include in the file.

  • Label: A text field to define the column header for the selected field.

  • Default Value: A text field to specify a default value for the column if the source data is empty.

  • + (Add Button): A button to add the defined column to the file's layout.

The following steps should be followed to edit a Courier

  • Configuration - Courier List

  • Select a row and press Courier . View

  • Click on Courier Edit.
