Sales Region

Region: Defines a region that must be assigned to an existing Market. Regions can also be activated, deactivated, or imported.

How to Create and Edit a Sales Region

From the Reference Data > Sales Region in the Back Office (BO), a list of all Sales Regions can be accessed:

To create a new one, select the Sales Region . Create option located in the RELATED TASKS section on the right side of the screen.

The following screen will be displayed:

  • Code: A mandatory field for a unique identifier code for the sales region.

  • Name: A mandatory field for the name of the sales region.

  • Description: A mandatory field for a short description of the region.

  • Sales Market: A mandatory dropdown menu to select the parent Sales Market to which this region belongs.

  • Active : A checkbox to set the sales region as active. Inactive regions may not be available for selection in other parts of the system.

The following steps should be followed to edit a Sales Region

  • Reference Data - Sales Region

  • Select a row and press Sales Region . View

  • Click on Edit Sales Region.
