Area: A subdivision within a Region.

How to Create and Edit a Sales Area

From the Reference Data > Sales Area in the Back Office (BO), a list of all Sale Areas can be accessed.

To create a new one, select the Sales Area . Create option located in the RELATED TASKS section on the right side of the screen.

The following screen will be displayed:

  • Code: A mandatory field for a unique identifier code for the sales area.

  • Active: A checkbox to set the sales area as active. Inactive areas may not be available for selection in other parts of the system.

  • Name: A mandatory field for the name of the sales area.

  • Description: A mandatory field for a short description of the area.

  • Sales Region: A mandatory dropdown menu to select the parent Sales Region to which this area belongs.

The following steps should be followed to edit a Sales Area

  • Reference Data - Sales Area

  • Select a row and press Sales Area . View

  • Click on Edit Sales Area.
