Password Recovery Emails

This page configures the automatic password recovery email sent to customers who request a password reset via REST or a call center.

A default email configuration is provided, with additional configurations available for specific brand families and countries.

When a password reset is requested, Thalamus first analyzes the touchpoint to identify the brand family and country. It then checks for an ad-hoc password recovery email configuration for that specific brand and country. If no custom configuration exists, the default email is used.

How to Create and Edit a Custom Interaction

From the Configuration > Password Recovery Email List in the Back Office (BO), a list of all configurations can be accessed.

To create a new one, select the Password Recovery Email . Create option located in the RELATED TASKS section on the right side of the screen.

The following screen will be displayed.

  • From: A field to define the sender's email address.

  • Subject: A field for the email's subject line.

  • Token expiration time in hours: A numerical field to set how long the password reset token will be valid.

  • Body of the email, allowing for the customization of the message content.

  • Country: A list of countries where the email configuration will be applied.

  • Brand Family: A list of brand families for which this template is valid.

  • Touchpoints: A list of touchpoints to which this configuration applies.

The following steps should be followed to edit a Password Recovery.

  • Configuration - Password Recovery Email List

  • Select a row and press Password Recovery Email . View

  • Click on Password Recovery Email Edit Email
