Item Field Group

This feature is used to create logical groupings of existing Item Fields. Grouping fields can simplify administration and improve organization, especially when dealing with a large number of custom fields. The configuration involves naming the group and selecting the individual item fields that will be included in it.

How to Create and Edit a Item Field

From the Configuration > Item Field Group List in the Back Office (BO), a list of all Items Fields Groups can be accessed.

To create a new one, select the Item Field Group . Create option located in the RELATED TASKS section on the right side of the screen.

The following screen will be displayed:

1. Group Details

  • Name: A mandatory field for the descriptive name of the new field group.

  • Current Group Item Fields Active : A checkbox to set the group as active. Inactive groups may not be available for use in other parts of the system.

2. Item Fields to add: This component is used to select the item fields that will be part of the group.

Item Fields to add : A mandatory dual-list selector.

  • The left list displays available item fields.

  • The right list displays the fields that have been added to the group.

  • The arrow buttons are used to move fields between the two lists.

The following steps should be followed to edit a Item Field Group

  • Configuration - Item Field Group List

  • Select a row and press Item Field Group . View

  • Click on Item Field Group Edit.
