Item Field
This is a configuration screen used to create custom data fields for "Items". A key concept is that each field created here must be assigned to a specific Item Type. This allows for different types of items to have completely different sets of data fields, ensuring a flexible and organized data structure. The configuration also includes setting the default behavior for each field, such as whether it is required or visible.
How to Create and Edit a Item Field
From the Configuration > Item Field List in the Back Office (BO), a list of all Items Fields can be accessed.

To create a new one, select the Item Field . Create option located in the RELATED TASKS section on the right side of the screen.
The following screen will be displayed:

1. Field Details: This section contains the primary identification details for the new item field.
Name : A mandatory field for the descriptive name of the item field.
Code: A mandatory field for the unique system code for the field.
Description: A mandatory field for a short description of the field's purpose.
Type ID: A mandatory dropdown menu to select the specific Item Type to which this field will be assigned.
2. Default Configuration: This section defines the default properties and behavior of the new field.
System Default: A checkbox to mark this as a system-level default field.
Visible: A checkbox to set whether the field is visible by default in user interfaces.
Required: A checkbox to set whether this field is mandatory when creating or editing an item of the corresponding type.
Editable: A checkbox to set whether the value in this field can be edited by users.

Select a row and press Item Field . View
Click on Item Field Edit
How to Create and Edit a item field property
To create a new one, after creating the item, select the Item Field . Create Property option located in the RELATED TASKS section on the right side of the screen.
The following screen will be displayed:

1. Country Selection
Country: A mandatory dropdown menu to select the country for which these specific field properties will apply.
2. Field Properties: This section defines the behavior of the item field for the selected country.
Sys. Default: A checkbox to mark this country-specific configuration as the system default.
Required : A checkbox to make the field mandatory for this country.
Visible: A checkbox to make the field visible in user interfaces for this country.
Editable: A checkbox to allow the field to be edited for this country.
The following steps should be followed to edit a Item Field Property
Within a Created Item Field
Select a row and press Item Field . Property View
Click on Item Field Property . Edit
