Survey

This type of activity allows you to create surveys and analyse their results. Surveys can contain different types of questions. Participants can complete them via CC or REST.

How to create and edit a Survey Activity

To create a new one, you must have selected the survey activity type. The following screen will appear:

  • Status: A read-only field that displays the current configuration state of the activity. The default value is "Configuration pending".

1. Generic Activity Information

This section appears when "Generic" is selected as the Activity Type and contains the basic identification details.

  • Name: A text input field for the activity's name.

  • Code: A text input field for a unique identifier code for the activity.

  • Description: A text input field for a detailed description of the activity's purpose.

2. Visibility Period

This section defines the date and time range during which the activity will be active or visible.

  • Visible From: The start date and time for the activity's visibility.

  • To: The end date and time for the activity's visibility.

  • Time zone: A dropdown menu to select the time zone that applies to the visibility start and end times.

  • Message: A text input field for the main content or message that will be displayed as part of the activity.

3. Survey Configuration

  • Survey Configuration: A single-choice option to define the survey's operational mode. The available options are:

    • Single Survey: Creates a standalone, one-time survey.

    • Multiple Surveys by Event: Configures the system to trigger surveys based on specific events.

    • Multiple Surveys by Behavior: Configures the system to trigger surveys based on specific user actions.

For activities configured with multiple countries, the 'IN' operator for applicability rules will be unavailable. It is necessary to review all applicability rules after saving the configuration.

  • Country: A list of countries where the activity configuration will be applied.

  • Brand Families: A list of brand families for which this template is valid.

  • Touchpoints: A list of touchpoints to which this configuration applies.

To Edit a survey activity, follow these simple steps:

  1. Select the activity you want to edit.

  2. Click "View activity."

  3. On the activity details page, click ‘Edit activity’.
