Activities

We'll cover what an activity is and its different types in this section.

What is a Activity

Activities are how Thalamus manages a wide range of configurable projects. They can be thought of as self-contained "modules" that can be configured for a specific purpose. they can also be used to group communications, AS all activities facilitate communication.

When creating a new activity, can choose from the following types:

This activity offers a flexible and simple solution for organising basic communication campaigns. Use it to create a simple container for any set of communications, helping you to maintain an organised workspace and ensuring that each initiative is easily classified and monitored.

Activity that functions as a centralised platform for managing the entire event workflow. It enables communication campaigns to be carried out targeting attendees and dynamic monitoring of their status, from invitation and acceptance to final attendance.

This type of activity allows you to create surveys and analyse their results. Surveys can contain different types of questions. Participants can complete them via CC or REST.

Designed to boost user engagement, this integrated points engine allows you to create a digital rewards catalogue. Create an account for each participant, where they will accumulate points according to a set of fully customisable rules and actions within the Thalamus platform. The module also allows you to create a catalogue of digital rewards, enabling users to redeem their earned points for items, making it a comprehensive solution for implementing loyalty and gamification programmes.

The "Pay It Forward" activity facilitates a community gift exchange. In this model, when a participant buys a gift for another member, they then receive a gift from someone else in the community.

A type of activity defined by the use of game mechanics to encourage user engagement. In this model, participants complete a series of actions or challenges to earn rewards such as winning a prize, entering a raffle, or unlocking an exclusive invitation.
